Disney Star Darlings (Review)

A little while ago, we were sent some Disney Star Darlings dolls to review. I'll be honest, it's taken me a while to get around to writing about these, but only because Sasha did a little unboxing video which I really wanted to include. Editing videos is something I enjoy, but which takes a lot of time (I don't have a lot of that spare, sadly!).

Her video is at the bottom of this post, but first let me tell you a little more about the dolls. There are five dolls, based on the Disney Star Darlings Animation; we received Libby, Sage and Scarlet but Leona and Vega would make up the full set.

Sage is in purple, Libby in pale pink and Scarlet in hot pink and black, matching their personalities. Sage and Libby come with a guitar accessory and Scarlet has a very modern drum set. The marketing jazz states that the girls are sparkling wish-granters who are all about positive energy; bold, intelligent, optimistic, ambitious and confident. Who wouldn't want that for their child?!

The dolls are 11 inches tall and fully poseable, with vibrant and sparkly fashions which are out of this world. They have adorable 'Royal ReflectionTM' eyes and shimmery skin. In each box there is also a unique Power Crystal ring for the child to wear.

The Disney Star Darlings are from JAKKS Pacific and have a suggested retail of £19.99. Currently available at Toys R Us. As you'd expect from a Disney item, they are great quality, and my girl loved them!

Now here is the mega unboxing session Sasha had, edited down to a shortened version... it made me smile anyway.

Disclosure: we were sent the above items to review but all opinions on them are honest and our own.
