Be Neurokind supportive, positive resources {Review}

Today I'd like to introduce you to Be Neurokind, a shop with resources to celebrate neurodiversity. Created by Tracey and her daughter Chloe, who was a well-known teen advocate in the PDA community for several years, this shop includes printable PDA resources along with a wider range of neurodivergent cards, stickers, keychains and badges - if you are thinking of congratulating someone on their recent autism or ADHD diagnosis, this is the place to go!

As you can see, the artwork is super cute and appealing!

There are several helpful guides too, such as the PDA self help book, Anxiety Demand cards and My PDA Brain Handbook for children.

I thought it would be best to share Tracey's own words about why this range has been introduced:

******

"Be Neurokind began as a mother and daughter project with one simple goal: helping neurodivergent people feel seen, understood and proud of who they are.

Be Neurokind started as something deeply personal - a way for my daughter and I to combine our passions and create something meaningful together.

My daughter has always been passionate about advocacy and helping people understand neurodiversity and PDA which she used her advocacy page Chloe me just me to share her journey, while I've always loved creating illustrations and resources. Together, we had an idea to turn those passions into something that could help others. Our goal was simple: to create supportive, positive resources that help children understand themselves and feel proud of who they are.

We started by creating digital-self help book for children, designed to give them tools to understand their minds, embrace their differences, and grow up knowing that being themselves is something to celebrate, we wanted children with PDA, autism and other neurodivergent experiences to see themselves reflected in a kind and empowering way.

Not long after we began my daughter was diagnosed with PoTs. Sadly, this meant she could no longer continue working on the project with me or continue her advocacy role as she needed to focus on herself, her health and her art. Although this was difficult, the heart of what we created together felt too important to stop. So I carried it on...

Be Neurokind continues with the same message and values we started with Kindness, understanding, and celebrating every kind of mind and shining light on invisible illnesses and disabilities. I do this whilst continuing my carer role which has increased to multiple hospital, doctors and chemist visits.

Today the shop has grown to include products that support Neurodivergent identity, invisible illnesses and disabilities, and LGBTQ+ inclusivity - because everyone deserves to feel seen, accepted, and valued.

You'll find digital resources, identity stickers and badges, neurodivergent sticker sheets and greetings cards - including "congratulations on your diagnosis" cards that celebrate the person and their journey of self - understanding.

Everything I create is made with the hope that someone out there will feel a little more seen, understood, a little mote proud of who they are, and a little less alone.

Our mission is to create kind, supportive resources and designs that celebrate neurodivergent minds, invisible illness and the beauty of being unapologetically yourself.

Be Kind to every kind of mind.... Be Neurokind."
