Tooth Fairy letter. Wot So Funee?

The lovely Actually Mummy runs a fab linky called Wot So Funee? and I've often been tempted to take part. Sadly I'm usually too busy running around after my two cheeky scamps to remember to stop and write down anything funny they say....

But recently, Tamsin gave me something to treasure. A letter, written by her own fair hand at bedtime, to the Tooth Fairy. Left under her pillow with her second molar tooth (bit like buses - we've had none fall out for months and then two almost together!).

I'm sure I have another post in me on the dangers of lying to our children about anything (Santa Claus and Elf On The Shelf being the main culprits) and it also occurred to me today that I'm not really sure why anyone wants to keep a box of old teeth (I mean, yuk!) but for now I'll take this as a sweet memory!

I found the Tooth Fairy's writing very quaint and cute, if I'm being honest. See if you can spot it and then tell me what you think?!

  1. oh I LOVE this! I especially love the tooth fairies responses about having fairy dust and the present tick being between the yes and no. That is a real letter to treasure. xxx

  2. I used to write to a fairy (or so I thought) - in hindsight I should have been suspicious when she signed her letters Fairy Nuff...

    1. Love it, wish I'd thought of that one. Did you know there's a website that generates fairy names though?! It's quite good fun :)

  3. I LOVE it Steph. You're right, funny is often hard to come by but it's worth making the time to write it down.

    1. It's funny (except not really), I kept a Sasha diary for quite a while, but really focussed more on showing her struggles as that's how us SN mums get, to prove that help is needed. Really I just wish I'd kept a positive funny diary for each of the girls then I'd love reading it back :(
