BAPS Awards are BACK! Please vote...

The BAPS are back!! For the third year!
BAPS awards logo

The very amazing Deb who blogs over at Chaos in Kent and works with Bringing Us Together introduced these awards for the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) blogging community three years ago. BAPS stands for Bloody Awesome Parents, those who are blogging about their life with children with SEND. I wasn't able to make it to previous ceremonies, because I sadly didn't make the shortlists *gets violin out* so I missed the chance to chat with the inspirational Sally Phillips and hug Gethin's baps.
I would dearly love to be at the ceremony next year, not just for the chance of putting a posh frock on and having a night out, but to be able to finally meet lots of fantastic bloggers in person. People I've come to know and love via the internet but have not yet been able to hug. And Prosecco. I mean, there's bound to be Prosecco, right?!

So for that reason, I am going to ask for votes, again, sorry. I know it's cringe-worthy, and I know some people don't like the whole awards shebang, but I figure that if I don't publicise these awards, most readers wouldn't know about them or think to nominate me or any of the other bloggers pouring their hearts into helping spread awareness and understanding of special needs. So apologies, but it just needs to be done. Nominations for the BAPS Awards 2019 are now open.

Categories which I might fall into are The Truth About SEND, Best use of Media or Blogger Making A Difference. I know there are lots of amazing bloggers who fall into these categories too, so I'm not holding my breath, but of course I would really, really appreciate your vote, I'm trying hard to help others understand about Pathological Demand Avoidance and this is one more way to raise the profile.

This year there is also a category for a non-blogger Bloody Awesome Parent of the Year and I can think of loads of people I'd like to nominate for that!

My URL which you will need to copy and paste is https://www.stephstwogirls.co.uk/ and my contact email is stephstwogirls@gmail.com

To everyone who votes now or has voted before I send a huge Thank You, from me and my girls.
